Overview
Display
This smartphone’s screen is a flat 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the top center. This screen supports a 120Hz high refresh rate. In harsh sunlight conditions, this panel can brighten up to 1000 nits, which is quite impressive. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is used as the protector of this screen.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy M36 has a triple rear and one front camera. Those cameras are a 50MP rear main, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 13MP front camera. The 2MP macro camera is useless. The back camera captures videos at 4K 30fps & 1080p 30/60fps, and the 13MP front camera also captures videos at 4K 30fps & 1080p 30fps.
Performance
Android 15 and OneUI 7 run on the operating system. This mobile gets up to 6 years of major Android and security updates. 6 years of Android updates in a budget segment smartphone is very impressive. The Exynos 1380 is used as the chipset. It is an Octa-core chip based on 5-nanometer fabrication. These eight cores are divided into 4 cores 2.4GHz Cortex A78, and 4 cores 2.0GHz Cortex A55. The Mali G68 MP5 is used as the GPU for this chip. This SoC can hit more than 0.6 million Antutu scores.
Battery
This mobile phone has a 5000mAh non-removable battery that supports 25W wired charging. A Samsung-certified 25W charger fully charges this battery in 80 minutes.
