This smartphone’s screen will be a flat 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a small water drop notch cutout for the selfie camera in the top center. This screen will support a 90Hz high refresh rate. In harsh sunlight conditions, this panel will brighten up to 800 nits. which is decent enough. However, this screen will not have any certified screen protection.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy M16 will have a triple back and one front camera. Those cameras are a 50MP rear main, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, and a 13MP front camera. The 2MP macro camera is useless. Without OIS and gyro-EIS, the back camera will capture videos only at 1080p 30fps and the 13MP front camera will also capture videos at 1080p 30fps.
Performance
Android 14 and OneUI 6 will run on the operating system. This mobile will find up to 6 years of major Android updates. 6 years of Android update in a low-budget smartphone is very impressive. The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 will used as the chipset. It is an Octa-core chip based on 6-nanometer fabrication. These eight cores are divided into 2 cores 2.4GHz cortex A76, and 6 cores 2.0GHz cortex A55. The Mali G57 MC2 is used as the GPU for this chip. This SoC can hit more than 0.42 million Antutu scores.
Battery
