Overview
Design
Vivo always focuses on their smartphone’s updated design and in-hand feel. Vivo Y300 Pro is no different. The front and back sides will be glass, and the side frame will be plastic.
Display
A 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel will be used to display this mobile phone. This panel has a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the top center. This screen will support a 120Hz high refresh rate. When consuming HDR content, this panel will hit up to 5000 nits of peak brightness. Five thousand nits of peak brightness is huge. The panel will be bright enough for harsh outdoor sunlight conditions. Schott Xensation glass will protect this screen.
Camera
The Vivo Y300 Pro will come with dual rear cameras and one front camera. A 50MP rear main camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 32MP front camera. The two-megapixel depth camera is useless. Nowadays, almost all youth love to take photos in tight focal length portrait mode. A telephoto camera is very useful when clicking DSLR-like portrait photos. But this phone will have no telephoto camera. The 50MP main camera captures good photos and decent videos in 4K 30fps and 1080p 30fps with gyro-EIS. The 32MP front camera can capture good photos and decent videos at 1080p 30fps.
Performance
Android 14 and Origin OS 4 will run on the operating system. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 will be used as the chipset. It is an Octa-core chip based on 4-nanometer fabrication. The Adreno 710 will be used as the GPU for this chip. It is a good chip. This chip can hit more than 5.5 Laks Antutu scores, which is an excellent Antutu score.
Sound System
It will have stereo speakers as loudspeakers, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. The stereo speakers’ sound is decent.
Battery
This mobile phone will be powered by a 6500mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. This battery supports up to 80W wired, and reverse wired charging. With an 80-watt charger, this phone will fully charge in less than 70 minutes.
