Display
This smartphone’s screen will be a flat 6.68-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the top center. This screen will support a 120Hz high refresh rate. In harsh sunlight conditions, this panel will brighten up to 1000 nits. However, this screen will not have any certified screen protection.
Camera
The Vivo Y29 4G will have dual back and one front camera. Those cameras are a 50MP rear, 2MP depth, and an 8MP front camera. A 2MP depth camera is useless. Without OIS and gyro-EIS, the back camera will capture videos only at 1080p 30fps and the 8MP front camera will also capture videos at 1080p 30fps.
Performance
Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15 will run on the operating system. The MediaTek Helio G88 will used as the chipset. It is an Octa-core chip based on 12-nanometer fabrication. These eight cores are divided into 2 cores 2.0GHz cortex A75, and 6 cores 1.8GHz cortex A55. The Mali G52 MP2 is used as the GPU for this chip. This SoC can hit more than 0.27 million Antutu scores.
Battery
This mobile phone will have a 6000mAh non-removable battery that supports 44W wired charging. An Honor-certified 44W charger will fully charge this battery in less than 1.5 hours.
