Display
A 6.9-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel will be used to display this mobile phone. The panel features a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera at the top center. It supports a 144Hz high refresh rate. In harsh sunlight conditions, the panel can reach up to 1200 nits of brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 will be used to protect the display
Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi 16 will feature a dual rear camera setup and a single front-facing camera. The rear module includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera houses an 8MP sensor. Both front and rear cameras will support 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Performance
The device will run on Android 16 with HyperOS 3 as the user interface. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset—an octa-core processor built on a 4nm fabrication process. The CPU is configured with 4x Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz. Graphics processing will be handled by the Adreno 710 GPU. This chipset is expected to achieve an AnTuTu score more than 620,000.
Battery
The smartphone will be equipped with a 7500mAh non-removable Li-Po battery, which supports 33W wired fast charging.
