Overview
Display
This smartphone’s screen is a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel. It has a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the top center. This screen supports a 120Hz high refresh rate. When consuming HDR content, this panel will hit up to 1800 nits of peak brightness, which is good. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 will protect this screen.
Camera
The Vivo Y300 comes with dual rear cameras and one front camera. Those cameras are a 50MP rear main camera, a 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP front camera. Nowadays, almost all youth love to take photos in tight focal length portrait mode. A telephoto camera is needed when clicking DSLR-like portrait photos. But this phone does not have a telephoto camera. Without EIS or OIS, the back camera captures videos in 1080p 30fps. The 13MP front camera can also capture videos at 1080p 30fps.
Performance
Android 14 and Funtuch OS 14 run on the operating system. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is used as the chipset. It is an octa-core chip based on 4-nanometer fabrication. These eight cores are divided into 2 cores 2.2 GHz Cortex A78, 6 cores 1.95 GHz Cortex A55. The Adreno 613 is used as the GPU for this chip. This SoC can hit more than 0.42 million Antutu scores.
Battery
This mobile phone is powered up by a 5000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. This battery supports 80W wired charging. With a Vivo flash charge supported 80W charger, this battery will fully charge in less than 40 min.
