Overview
Design
Xiaomi Poco M7 Plus is the successor of the Poco M6 Plus. The front side and back side will be glass, but the back side will be plastic.
Display
A 6.79-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel will be used to display this mobile phone. This panel has a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the top center. This screen will support a 120Hz high refresh rate. This panel will brighten up to 1000 nits in harsh outdoor sunlight conditions. One thousand nits of peak brightness is decent. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 will protect this screen.
Camera
The Xiaomi Poco M7 Plus will come with dual rear cameras and one front camera. A 108MP rear main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP front camera. The 2MP macro camera is useless. Because an ultrawide camera can take better macro shots. But this phone has no ultrawide camera. The 108MP main camera will capture good photos and decent videos in 1080p 30/60fps without any stabilization. The 13MP front camera will capture decent photos and videos at 1080p 30fps. A phone in 2025, with no ultrawide camera and no 4K video recording is very disappointing.
Performance
Android 15 and Hyper OS will run on the operating system. This mobile will find 2 Years of Android and 3 years of security updates. The 2-3 years update is decent. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 will be used as the chipset. It is an Octa-core chip based on 4-nanometer fabrication. The Octa-core is divided by 2 cores 2.4 GHz cortex A78 and 6 core 2.0 GHz cortex A55. The Adreno 615 will be used as the GPU for this chip. This chip can hit more than 5 Laks Antutu scores, which is a decent Antutu score.
Battery
This mobile phone will be powered by a 5500mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. This battery supports up to 33W wired. With a 33-watt charger, this phone will fully charge in less than 90 minutes.
