Samsung is gearing up for a major summer launch, and the countdown is on! The company has officially confirmed its Galaxy Unpacked event for July 9 in Brooklyn, New York, starting at 10 AM ET. This highly anticipated showcase will reveal the next generation of Samsung foldables — the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 — along with new wearable tech and ecosystem products. Samsung is well known for their eco-system.

A teaser video already hints at one big upgrade: the Galaxy Z Fold7’s ultra-slim 9mm folded profile, less from 12.1mm on last year’s Fold6. Both new foldables will launch with One UI 8 running on Android 16

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to feature a 6.5-inch outer display, a massive 8.2-inch inner screen with a punch-hole selfie camera, and a stunning 200MP main camera — all powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 features a big 4-inch flat panel for the cover display. It is powered by the Exynos 2500 chip for the whole global market, while in the US, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elile will be used. It is a clear competitor of the Motorola Razr Ultra.
Leaks suggest the Galaxy Z Fold7, codenamed “Q7,” could start at €2,227 for the 256GB model, with the 512GB version priced around €2,309 — roughly €200 more than the Fold6. The Galaxy Z Flip7, codenamed “B7,” may start at €1,425.51 for the 512GB variant — another price bump.
Samsung might still offer a more affordable option: the rumored Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, expected to launch in South Korea at around KRW 1 million (~ USD 740). But don’t expect direct currency conversions to match local prices, especially after taxes and market adjustments.
Besides folding phones, Samsung also launches wearable products at this event. Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra. The most famous model is the Watch Classic. It will feature a 1.5K MicroLED panel with a 435mAh battery.
