Overview
Design
In the last few years, Samsung has followed its A series design on Its flagship S series. Samsung Galaxy A29 is no different. The front & back side will be glass, but the side frame will be plastic.
Display
A 6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED panel will be used to display this mobile phone. This panel has a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the top center. This screen will support a 120Hz high refresh rate. This panel will hit up to 2400 nits of peak brightness when consuming HDR content. Two thousand five hundred nits of peak brightness is good. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ will protect this screen.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy A29 will come with three rear cameras and one front camera. A 108MP rear primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 32MP front camera. The five-megapixel macro camera is useless. Because an ultrawide camera can capture good macro photos. Nowadays, almost all youth love to take pictures in tight focal length portrait mode. A telephoto camera is very useful when clicking DSLR-like portrait photos. But this phone will have no telephoto camera. The 108MP primary camera captures good pictures and good videos in 4K 30/60fps and 1080p 30/60/120fps with gyro-EIS and OIS. The 12MP ultrawide camera can capture decent 120-degree wide photos and videos. The 32MP front camera can capture good pictures and good videos at 4K 30/60fps, and 1080p 30/60fps.
Performance
Android 18 and One UI 10.0 will run on the operating system. This phone will find updates up to Android 23. 4 Years of Android updates is good. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 will be used as the chipset. It is an Octa-core chip based on 4-nanometer fabrication. The eight cores are divided into 1-core 3.1GHz cortex A78, 3-core 3.0GHz cortex A78, and 4-core 2.0GHz cortex A55. The Mali G610 MP6 will be used as the GPU for this chip. It is a good chip. This chip can hit more than 9.2 Laks Antutu scores, which is a good Antutu score.
Sound System
It will have stereo speakers as loudspeakers, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. The stereo speakers’ sound is good.
Battery
This mobile phone will be powered by a 6000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. This battery supports 45W PD3.0 wired and reverse wired charging. With a 45-watt charger, this phone will fully charge in less than 80 minutes.
