Overview
Display
Oppo F29 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel. It supports a 120Hz high refresh rate and 1B colors. In consuming HDR content, this panel can brighten up to two thousand one hundred nits. Which is very impressive. In harsh sunlight conditions, this panel can brighten up to twelve hundred nits. Asahi Glass AGC DT-Star2 is used to protect this panel.
Camera
The phone features a dual rear and a single front camera setup. The cameras include a 50MP main rear camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 32MP front camera. Nowadays, many young people enjoy taking photos in tight focal-length portrait mode, which typically requires a telephoto camera. However, this phone does not have a telephoto camera. An ultrawide camera is also missing. The rear cameras can record videos at 1080p at 30/60 fps. The 32MP front camera supports video recording at 1080p at 30fps.
Performance
The device runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 as its operating system. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which is an octa-core processor built on a 4-nanometer fabrication process. The eight cores consist of 4 Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and 4 Cortex A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The chipset uses the Mali G615 MP2 as its GPU, which is capable of running all Android games at the low to medium graphics settings. Additionally, this chipset can achieve an Antutu benchmark score of over 0.67 million points.
Battery
A 6500mAh non-removable battery powers this mobile phone. The battery supports 85W wired charging. A Relame-certified 85W charger, this battery will fully charge in less than 60 minutes.
