Overview
Display
This smartphone’s screen will be a 6.8-inch 2K flat LTPO5 AMOLED panel with a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the top center. This panel also supports a variable 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. When consuming HDR content, this screen will brighten up to 5000 nits at peak brightness. In harsh sunlight conditions, this panel will brighten up to 1800 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus will protect this panel.
Camera
This OnePlus 15R will have a triple rear and one front camera setup. Those cameras are a 50MP rear main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, a 50MP telephoto, and a 32MP front camera. Nowadays, almost all youth love to take photos in a tight focal length portrait mode. A telephoto camera is essential when clicking tight focal-length portrait photos. This phone will offer a 70mm or 3x optical telephoto camera. The back camera will capture videos in 4K 30/60fps and 1080p 30/60/120/240/480fps. The front camera will only capture videos in 4K 30fps, 1080p at 30/60fps.
Performance
Android 17 and ColorOS 17 will run on the operating system. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 will be used as the chipset. It is an Octa-core chip based on 3-nanometer fabrication. These eight cores are divided into 2 cores 5.0 GHz Cortex, and 6 cores 4.0 GHz Cortex. The Adreno 840 is used as the GPU for this chip. This SoC can hit more than 3.2 million Antutu scores. This chip can easily run all Android games with the highest settings.
Battery
This mobile phone will have a 7000mAh non-removable battery that supports 80W wired charging. A OnePus-certified 80W charger will fully charge this battery in 80 minutes.
