Nothing finally decided to launch the most anticipated Nothing Phone 3 on 1 July. The previous model, the Nothing Phone 2, was launched in July 2023. Two years late, the Phone 3 comes with almost every sector upgrade. It offers, all in all, flagship killer specs. So, let’s go deep down to the phone.
Nothing Phone 3 offers a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED panel. This panel supports a 120Hz variable refresh rate. It also supports 1B colors, HDR10+. Corning Gorilla Glass is used to protect this panel. For build quality, the back side uses Corning-made glass and the frame is aluminum. Glass & Aluminum offers a very premium look and handfeel. But as a flagship killer phone, perfect water & dust resistance is missing. It gets IP64, which is dust & splash resistant.
In terms of cameras, Nothing offers a triple rear and one front camera. All of these cameras are 50MP resolution. A 24mm main camera with OIS, a 114-degree ultrawide with autofocus, a 70mm 3x periscope with OIS, and a selfie camera. All cameras can record videos in 4K 30fps.
The newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 will be used as the chipset. It is a 4-nanometer fabrication chip. The Geekbench score of this phone has been leaked. The Geekbench scores are 2,076 in single core and 6,577 in multicore. This score is respectable for the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. This device will be equipped with 12/16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256/512 GB of UFS4.0 storage. It will run Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5. In display, optical fingerprint and software-based face lock are used to secure this phone.
In terms of battery, Nothing engineers manage to fit a 5150mAh battery. This is the largest battery that Nothing fit in their phones ever. This battery supports 100W PD3.0, QC4 fast charging. 100W wired charging is unbelievable for nothing. While previous model supports only 45W charging. It is a very smart move for nothing. This battery also supports 15W wireless and 5W reverse wireless.
