Overview
Display
The Xiaomi Redmi K80 Ultra features a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED panel. It supports a 144Hz high refresh rate, 68 billion colors, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. In consuming HDR content, this panel can brighten up to three thousand two hundred nits. Which is impressive. In harsh sunlight conditions, this panel can brighten up to 1800 nits. Scratch/drop-resistant glass is used for the protection of this panel.
Camera
The phone features a dual rear and a single front camera setup. The cameras include a 50MP main rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 20MP front camera. Nowadays, many young people enjoy taking photos in tight focal-length portrait mode, which typically requires a telephoto camera. However, this phone does not have a telephoto camera. The rear cameras can record videos at 8K 30fps, 4K 30/60fps, and 1080p at 30/60/120/240/960fps. The 20MP front camera supports video recording at 1080p at 30fps.
Performance
The device runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2.1 as its operating system. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which is an octa-core processor built on a 4-nanometer fabrication process. The eight cores consist of 1 Cortex X925 core clocked at 3.63 GHz, 3 Cortex X4 cores clocked at 3.3 GHz, and 4 Cortex A720 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz. The chipset uses the Mali G925 Immortalis MP12 as its GPU, which is capable of running all Android games at the highest graphics settings. Additionally, this chipset can achieve an Antutu benchmark score of over 2.8 million points.
Battery
A 7410mAh non-removable Si/C battery powers this mobile phone. The battery supports 100W wired and bypass charging.
